Our vessels can transport up to 28 passengers. If you require more, we have you covered—just book another white water taxi.

• Can a water taxi drop me off on a boat that I just missed?

Absolutely! We understand how frustrating it can be to miss a boat, but don't worry—we've got you covered. We would be more than happy to drop you off at the boat you just missed. Call 0482 720 408.

• How often do the water taxis run in Sydney?

With 24-hour notice, we can offer 24/7 service for an additional fee outside of regular business hours. This service is available through online booking.

• Is it possible to book a private water taxi for a special event on Sydney Harbour?

Yes, we provide various services for various special events in and around Balmain.

• What types of sea life can be seen in the Harbour around Sydney?

Sydney Harbour is home to many different sea life. Depending on the season, we see dolphins, whales, seals, sharks, and penguins.

• Are there restrictions on bringing food or drinks onto the water taxi?

You are welcome to bring any food or drink, except red wine, which can stain. Please just be respectful and clean up after yourself.

• What is the maximum number of passengers allowed on a water taxi?

Our largest white water taxi can carry up to 28 passengers. If you need more, we can accommodate you by sending multiple vessels.

• Are there any discounts available for regular water taxi users?

Unfortunately, due to the high maintenance costs of our well-maintained white limousine water taxis, as well as soaring fuel prices and inflation affecting all parts, insurance fees, etc., we are unable to offer any discount.

• Are water taxis affected by weather conditions?

White water taxi vessels can operate in all weather conditions, but severe wind and swell may impact the transportation. See our Terms & Conditions.

• Are there any boat tours available on Sydney water taxis that highlight the history and landmarks of the area?

Yes, we offer a variety of services and can provide commentary if you wish.

• What is the cost of a water taxi ride compared to other modes of transportation?

We are a bit more expensive, but we are a much more convenient and practical solution. You won't have to worry about finding parking, you can beat the traffic chaos, and you can even enjoy cold beverages without having to drive. You can also see a part of Sydney Harbour all in one place.

• What is the cancellation policy for a water taxi?

One day prior, 100% payable; two days prior, 50% payable; December and all special event days are 100% payable and charged to the Quoted booking fare. Otherwise, we are very flexible and understanding. All cancellations must be received by email at info@whitewatertaxi.com.au. Cancellation is not effective until the customer receives confirmation of the booking cancellation from White Water Taxi. Read our Terms and Conditions for more information.

• What is the cheapest option for a water taxi on Sydney Harbour?

We offer a $20 per person ferry ride from Circular Quay to Woolloomooloo, Cockatoo, Darling Harbour, Walsh Bay, Taronga Zoo, Pyrmont, Milson Point and Balmain for groups of 20 and more. For more information, call 0482 720 408.

Our vessel can transport up to 28 passengers to almost all the locations you can think of in Sydney Harbour, as long as there is a wharf nearby we can. If you require more, we have you covered—book another white water taxi.
